A few months ago, Nico gave me a smartphone as gift for my graduation, birthday and our anniversary. The main reason why I dreamed with having one was because I wanted to have Instagram. In fact, I think it was the first app I ever downloaded to the new phone. 

I think the beauty in this app resides, not only in the possibility of taking photos, running filters and sharing them, but also in seeing how even the most common things of everyday life get a new perspective depending in how you photograph them. 

This is my profile, in case you want to see more photos or follow me.

In the mean time, here are some of my favorites:

Hace unos meses Nico me regaló un smartphone. Fue su regalo de graduación, cumpleaños y aniversario. La razón principal por la que soñaba con un smartphone era para tener Instagram. De hecho creo que fue la primera aplicación que bajé en cuanto lo tuve en las manos. 

Creo que la belleza de esta app reside, no solo en la posibilidad de sacar fotos, ponerles filtros y compartirlas, sino también en ver cómo hasta las cosas más comunes de la vida diaria cobran una nueva significación depende de cómo se las fotografíe.

Cordoba

Last March we went on our first 2012 vacation. We decided to go to the Calamuchita region in Cordoba province. Nico had been to the Traslasierra area with some friends a few years ago, and I just knew the capital city.

We went by car and stayed in Villa General Belgrano, because it's close enough to the places we wanted to visit, and seemed like a pretty charming village.

We loved all the places we saw: the forests, the rivers, the hills. We concluded, as usual, that the beauty of nature never ceases to amaze us. 

En Marzo nos tomamos la primera semana de vacaciones de 2012. Nos decidimos a ir a la zona de Calamuchita en la provincia de Córdoba. Nico había ido a la zona de Traslasierra con amigos hace unos años, y yo no conocía más que la capital. 

Fuimos en auto e hicimos base en Villa General Belgrano, dado que está cerca de los lugares que queríamos visitar y parecía ser una ciudad muy pintoresca. 

Quedamos encantados con los lugares que vimos, los bosques, los ríos, las sierras. Llegamos como siempre a la misma conclusión: la belleza de la naturaleza no deja de maravillarnos.

Buenos Aires is a roller coaster

I saw this video in this blog and it blew my mind. I don't know how they did it, but it's pretty awesome.
Buenos Aires is a roller coaster, and that's exactly what I felt the first time I was on my own in this great city.

Vi este video en este blog y me alucinó. No sé cómo lo hicieron, pero es increíble. 
Buenos Aires es una montaña rusa, eso es exactamente lo que sentí la primera vez que me las tuve que arreglar sola en esta gran ciudad.

Frío/Calor

Traveling around the internet I found this two dream places. As I couldn't decide whether I wanted to go skiing or to the beach, I share both of them with you. Which one do you like the most? I still can't decide...

This cabin in San Lorenzo di Sebato, Italy, can host up to 10 people, and it even includes a wine cellar and its own sommelier!

Esta cabaña en San Lorenzo di Sebato, Italia puede hospedar hasta 10 personas, y hasta incluye una cava de vinos con su propio sommelier!

The coziness of the decor, the garden the views, I'm sure you get there and never want to leave.

Lo acogedor de la decoración, el jardín, las vistas, me parece que llegás y no querés irte más.

Villa Kampana

Another beautiful little house, this time in Santorini, Greece. With its typical Greek style, it had me at the blue doors. And in the kitchen, a blue niche for the sink!

Otra hermosa casita, esta vez en Santorini, Grecia. Con el típico estilo griego, me encantó enseguida con las puertitas azules. Y en la cocina, una hornacina azul para la pileta!
